Since the clones developed, Clonopolis has become filled with various types of “species”. The biodiversity on earth is the strongest it’s been in thousands of years. I’ve begun to catalog my findings of what the different species are.

“Homo Hominens”

(Otherwise known as “Clones”)

Myself, Stove, Dan, and Isaac are part of this species and are considered the “prime” clones. However, I have also noticed that Clonopolis has various subcategories of clones, or “races”.

Mixture (Mutt)

ew.
Mutts are clones that are mixtures of the four of us. They’re not necessarily predominantly one of us or another—just an all around mixture. They tend to be the most… “unique.” Mutts are the most common type of clone. They contain new mutations that then get added to the overall gene pool, making future clones even more unique. (Arguably making them not really clones…)

Stove Clones (Schnozies)

stinky.
Stove clones are classified as clones that contain more than 50% of Stove’s DNA… but in most cases? If they have a nose they’re close enough. Noses aren’t really a thing most clones have…except Stoves. Despite being the clones with the biggest noses, they seem to have the least regard for their own stench.

Isaac Clones

goofy...
Isaac clones are classified as such as long as they have 50% Isaac DNA or higher. Most of them aren’t the smartest. They all have slightly more athletic builds than the average clone, and stand at an average height of about 5’1. They also tend to have a unibrow.

Chris Clones

smarties
Chris clones are classified as clones that contain 50% Chris DNA or higher. Genetically speaking, Chris clones tend to have a higher capacity for scientific knowledge. They’re more…left brained? I guess. Might be the easiest way to describe it. They all tend to have the genetic mutation that embeds eyeglasses onto their skull, are usually yellow, and are medium height to smaller in stature.

Dan Clones

fatty
Dan clones are classified as having over 50% Dan DNA, making them contain a majority of his genes. These typically manifest through a warmer/redder hue and skin tone, shorter stature, round face, and rotund body type.

Now. Onto the non “humanoid” specimen.

"Christoflies"

beautiful...

Disturbingly, small butterflies with my face have began populating the cliff-side.

I suspect they’re C-Tech’s messed up way of bringing back some sort of ecosystem. It’s really hard to bring back species when they’ve already been long extinct, so they must have compromised by using some of their Chris DNA to create…these things.

They are definitely an invasive species. Also, they're uncanny! BEWARE!!! These are not to be toyed with!! Dan tried to bring one into the house as a pet and it bit off a piece of Isaac’s foot.

"Sturds"

hunting for christoflies

The Sturds are another weird genetic diversity experiment gone horribly wrong.

These are not lethal nor are they aggressive. They’re actually quite pleasant! The only downside is that their favorite place to…excrete…is on top of my lab. With a glass ceiling, now all I see is bird doodie above me.

"Dog Isaac"

cutie

This guy was the clones' attempt at recreating canines from human times. All it can say is “Woof and stuff, man.” Plays a great game of fetch.

"Cat Dan"

I HATE YOU!!

Another clone experiment. This one disturbs me greatly. Something about its stupid dopey face. I want to stomp on it until it stops breathing.

Angler Fish Clone

on her nightly hunt

I have no idea if she’s conscious or aware... But every night on the beach below the cliff, I spot her hunting below the surface of the ocean. She jumps inside, catches prey, and then disappears into the night. I've seen her swimming sometimes at sunrise. Horrifying.

Flowers In The Shape of Dan’s Face

hi dan :)

These flowers kinda look like Dan. I don't think they’re like an experiment by C-Tech or anything but they look a little bit cool.

Slugs

wet...

These types of clones are deformed and don’t have any legs so they travel by slithering their gross wet bodies from place to place. The guy on the left was a clone from my first batch. I call him “Deformed Chris”.

Anyway, that's all I've identified thus far.

Talk soon,

Chris
